Some Places That Could Be Waterfalls
(in Monongalia Co., WV)
These are some mixed recordings of mixed locales, (natural, artificial, etc) but otherwise as the title describes.

We've been starting to make manipulated field recordings, so we thought it would be fun to take a few hikes around the city to take recordings at a few unique spots. Some sections are from large bits of broken pipes - the city is on a hill between the confluence of the Monongahela River and a large creek, so big pipes and old works shoot out of either side fairly regularly if you know where to look. Others were taken throughout a manmade reservoir that doubles as a sort of nature preserve (looks like Canada). Only a few of the falls evolved naturally, on their own... and for some reason we're fascinated by them!
